I can't seem to stop XP Internet Security 2011 from starting it's install and fake scan. I have run updated Malwarebytes scans from safe mode (won't run from regular mode). Looked for vz.exe and can't find it to remove. No registry entries for vz.exe or pezfile or anything listed that is supposed to be attached to it. When I boot windows normally it automatically does it's fake scan, I can stop it for awhile using task manager to end it.

Hello, Please follow our Removal Guide here How to remove XP Security Tool 2010 .
You will move to the Automated Removal Instructions

After you completed that, post your scan log here, let me know how things are.

The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply. Be sure to post the complete log to include the top portion which shows MBAM's database version and your operating system.
