How do the two compare?
From what I've seen, then only diff is the clock speeds for the RAM and for the GPU core.
The diff is 5-20% in the clock speeds.
Anyone knows if this is the only diff and if indeed this makes a such noticeable difference.

I plan to build a PC around:
- ASUS P5N32-SLI Dlx
- P4 650 (3.4GHz)
- 2GB DDR RAM
- SLI

I mainly play FPS, RPG, Strategy games, FLight sims.

Thanks,

The GTX has a higher speed on the RAM and GPU as you say, but it also got one more vertex pipenline, and four more pixel pipelines. Have a look at this AnandTech 7800GT review, where they carefully compare the two cards.
