Help explorer.exe has been deleted by a virus!

I need help...i recently had a virus, after running spy-bot, malwarebytes and norton antivirus the virus is gone (i hope) However so is my explorer.exe file...so I have been googling for solutions and have tried everything that others have said...I copied the file and renamed it and the changed the registry...didn't work. I went to a clean computer and copied a clean explorer.exe file renamed it and changed the registry didn't work! I tried downloading the explorer.exe from the net add it to my C:\WINDOWS file...you guessed it didn't work...help
