Hi all,

I have been welcomed into the forums by the administrators, I would like to introduce myself, having enjoyed working with computers as a hobby since the ZX81, and currently running three machines, all Pcs of course, with XP (still think this operating system is the most forgiving), Vista and Windows 7. Mostly my computers are used for producing the village magazine each month. Along with helping grey surfers to get to grips with the ins and outs of computers, As a retired engineer all the work I do is voluntary, often people request help when in trouble with virus infection and with help from forums similar to this one I find other enthusiasts are always ready to assist.

I'm pleased to be joining you and hope that in turn what experience I have gained over 30+ years may allow me to assist others.

Be sure to check out the New User Orientation and the excellent Tutorials.
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
