Hey everyone,

I had just recently bought Bitdefender Total Security 2010 for my Dell XPS laptop. I figured it's a good antivirus for gaming. I had Bitdefender awhile back, but because of a hardware malfunction, I had to uninstall it. I am now trying to install the new version i just purchased. Yet when I try to install Bitdefender, it usually goes to almost 100% completion, but I always get an error, as depicted in the picture below:

What can I do to prevent this error from happening again?

This is Bitdefender Total Security 2010 for Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

I have seen a similar error reported when attempting to install BitDefender over a previous version which had not been completely removed. Try running the Uninstall tool first.

I would think their tech support should be able to help you if you purchased it, not so much if its free
