Looking for some guidance. I have had numerous infections which have been fixed or at least I believe I have fixed them. My machine has continued to get slower and slower as well as my browser responsiveness. I am assuming I have something going on however when I run various scans (Symantec, MS Security Essentials, Malabytes' Anti-spyware) they show things to be clean. In a last ditch effort I installed and ran Hijackthis. As a novice user I was looking for some advice on what I should consider removing or not from the attached Hijackthis log file.

My PC details are as follows;

Compact Presario 5000
Win XP Pro v2002 SP3
AMD Athlon™ Processor
1.10 GHz, 768MB of RAM

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!!!

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
