I had recently posted for help to remove rootkit and was successful and since have scanned with several different scanners finding nothing. But when using my firefox to browse I decided to look up the problems that malwarebytes found in my system previously to learn about them and when I use it to look those up by name the browser goes to a comcast search with no results. If I search for anything else my browser goes to avg yahoo results. Is this possibly just something in my browser that is still changed from the previous infection. Thanks to whoever has some advice on this.

This is resolved! I figured out its all due to having comcast service some bs they use call the Domain helper service that you have to opt out of before it will stop doing it.
