Here is a very strage and distressing issue that began 2 weeks ago. I have 9 PC users in various locations that have issues with their XP systems. Afer an hout or 2 the icons on th edesktop "disappear", go black or show on ly a shadow. The taskbar will become one lonn object or diappear. The screen will go blue (not a BSOD) or just reboot the pC. Saw it the first time on Nov 4-5 with one PC.Now have heard of it 8-10 times. Scanned all with 3 diss AV programs, Malwarebytes, Hitman Pro, Combofix and anything I could find. Only a couple iffy files, but no hard finds or fixes either. I suspect an XP prob courtesy of MS wanting to have us upgrade to Win 7 but no other firm proof. I would love to psate a pic-but the PC's are all frozen, locked or unresponsive when this happens.
Sure could use some new ideas on this as it is making me nuts.
