I saw some other post regarding the Searchassist.teoma.com Redirect that people were still having issues with, but all the topics were closed for discussion.....so I started this one.

I was having the same Re-direct issue in Firefox on my Mac, everytime I put in a misspelt keyword. I found out that the reason I couldn't find a virus or malware is because the Searchassist.teoma.com Redirect was coming from my ISP (charter cable).

I was able to opt-out of the redirect by going to the following page and clicking on the "here" link: http://searchassist.teoma.com/optout.jsf

Hope this is able to help someone else. :thumbup2:

Take care,
