I have an old Sony VAIO PCV-RX540 with a socket 370 FCPGA2 celeron 1.2 ghz processor. I want to use this as a server for the game Half Life 2, but i believe the processor is a bit weak, it usually gets pretty sluggish with more than 10 people on a hosted Half Life 1 server. I looked at processor upgrades on the net for it and the highest i found that socket can go is a 1.4 Pentium III, but that costs too much money for some stupid reason... so i was looking for one of those adapters to convert one socket type to another, but all i found on google was adapters allowing FCPGA to FCPGA2, which i already have... is there any adapters anyone knows of that would convert to something better, hopefully like a socket 478 or so?

Supports Intel Tualatin FC-PGA2 processors.

From 1.0 GHz to 1.4 GHz

Yeah the mobo already has support for FCPGA2, i was wondering if anything could make it go higher than 1.4 ghz...
