After starting Firefox, my home page comes up for a moment, then returns to my desktop for a moment, then Firefox comes back but with direct fetch as the home page. Clearing the History of that page will prevent this but only until the top of the hour. If Firefox is started again after the top of the hour the redirect occurs. It is not a fatal problem but an annoying one. Any ideas?

Excuse my ignorance...but what is the URL for what appears in your browser address as the redirect?

I don't see much/anything for what you described.
