I followed the instructions. After scanning one drive, a minute into the next drive malwarebytes stops. and I have to close it with task manager. What now? I have no internet working on that computer. Tnx, Apod

Have you tried renaming the mbam executable?

Do you know what it stops on?

Open Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Go to the Settings tab, and then to the Scanner Settings tab. Now, uncheck the following:

  • Scan additional items against heuristics
  • Enable advanced heuristics engine.
Try running a scan again.

I'm not sure if that will work, just a suggestion.
