Hello my name is DMBelle,

I'm not sure how this program ThinkPoint got onto my computer. It's telling me my computer is infected and wants me to purchase and upgrade.
I cant get into Internet explorer because it pops up again saying the program is infected. I tried to locate the program in the control panel, but I cant find
it anywhere to delete it. When I restart my computer it will pop up before logging in and only give me an option to scan my computer then buy the upgrage, I cant bi-pass it or anything. It forces me to go through the steps, how can I remove it?

Thank you.

Hello and welcome. First I am moving this topic to Am I Infected.

Please follow our Removal Guide here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-thinkpoint .
You will move to the Automated Removal Instructions

After you completed that, post your scan log here, let me know how things are.
The log is automatically saved and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy and paste the contents of that report in your next reply. Be sure to post the complete log to include the top portion which shows MBAM's database version and your operating system.
