My computer is connected to my router via a wireless adapter. My Xbox 360 is connected to my computer via Ethernet adapter and TV tuner. To give my Xbox access to the network I bridged the wireless adapter and the Ethernet adapter. Everything works great except my network adapters will appear as being disconnected when they are not. I tried to disable them from showing up in the system tray when not connected but the option to do so is not available on network adapters that have been bridged.

The icons circled in red are the network adapters and the one in green is the bridge.
