Hello. I have been using ZoneAlarm to protect our home desktop and I recently let the subscription expire just due to pure negligence. Wouldn't you know that the computer is now infected with the ThinkPoint malware. I have basically had no virus or malware trouble while previously protected.

I guess I need some help removing Thinkpoint. For now I have access to the desktop and to the command promt. Basic functionality is available, but I do not have access to the internet. I was previously using IE 8 which will not run at all now.

I am posting this request using my work laptop and will be able to communicate as such. Help! What do I do now?

Did I post this request in the wrong forum? I'll be glad to do whatever I can to get some help with my machine. Have I requested help incorrectly? I know everyone is busy, but 7 days without even a reply from anyone?

I now also have some kind of XP Security 2011 virus to go along with the other one.

Thanks for your consideration...
