screen turned sideways can a virus do this

My picture just suddenly turned 90 degrees. I didn't do any thing that I know of.

My suggestion is first up try the most frequent cause of this, a keyboard combination. The commonest one is Ctrl-Alt-Cursor (Arrow) (usually either cursor up or cursor left). If this doesn't help let us know more system details including your Operating System and what video the system has (eg nVidia, ATI/AMD(Radeon)).
