Why don't combofix and AVG9 get along?

I have to uninstall AVG before Combofix will run.

Is it the same with all antivirus programs?

Should I try something other than AVG Free?

Thanks,

JimD

This is a conflict with AVG9, but from the author of ComboFix ... ComboFix is a tool that should only be run under the supervision of someone who has been trained in its use. Using it on your own can cause problems with your computer.

AVG targets ComboFix and it cannot be effectively disabled before running the tool.

AVG also has issues with other security programs.

If you are also using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware real-time protection, please read Section H here.
