After removing antivirus8, a rootkit remains causing web pages to redirect to malwareinfolist.com. To remove this, First turn off all system restore by going to control panel and then system and system protection on the left and configure all disk drive to off for system restore. Running windows 7

Restart computer in safe mode by pressing F8 repeatedly while restarting and then selecting safe mode with networking.

then log in as administrator and make sure you have internet connection and then look for tdsskiller from kapersky on their website or anywhere else then save with a different name to desktop and then make sure all antivirus software is turned off and turn off internet connection and go offline then extract Tdsskiller and run program. It should find a rootkit and then cure and then OK and then restart and that should take care of that. Remember with this rootkit you cannot update windows or use antivirus software to detect it or remove it. All this should be Ok after you remove malwareinfolist.com. hope this helps. Worked for me. remember to go back and turn on system restore points.

Are you posting about having a problem or a method to fix a problem. We have a tutorial for this.
