Security tool, thinkpoint, and more. Can't start in safe mode

i am not very computer savvy, but can follow directions.
i tried following the instructions on removing security tool, but failed at the first step.

when starting up, pressing F8, it says
windows boot manager
choose an operating system to start, or press tab to select a tool:

windows vista

windows memory diagnostic

what should i do next?
