How do I get my PC (window XP) to start again. Not reading the HDD? Can get into BIOS but not sure what to do there.....Please help. I have some important doc & pictures in the HDD & would like to retrieve them without losing the data.

Cheers,

Is it a OEM computer like you would buy it at a retail shop which is usually a branded name or a custom built computer?
