When I shut down my computer for the night and restart it in the morning, I get a message in a box telling me that there is a conflict with the IP address on the network. However; I am using a laptop and there is not network. How could I fix the problem, where should I look?

Thank you,
Carrie Ann

IS this problem happening at home? Is there more than one pc connected to a router to access the internet? Open a command prompt, Windows Key + R, type cmd and then type the following without the quotes and paste all the results back here, "ipconfig /all".
