Safe mode desktop background

Not exactly sure where to post this, but wanted to share a "problem" I ran into.

I had a box that was infected with both Think Point and System Defragmenter. Went through the whole process and had a clean computer except for 1 thing. The computer "seemed" to be starting in safe mode, although it wasn't acting like it was in safe mode. The screen background was black with "safe mode" in all 4 corners. After a little bit I realized that it was just a screen background that was probably placed there by the malware.
