When I start my computer, I get an error message that says ""A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly". However I do not have Internet Explorer open at the time to my knowledge, and it does not show in processes with the Task Manager. I get this error message every time I reboot my computer. My computer is an HP pavilion zd8000, and my operating system is Windows XP. I rarely, if ever, use IE--I use either Google Chrome or Firefox as web browsers. Yesterday, my Yahoo mail account address book was hijacked and malicious e-mails were sent out in my name--I am not sure if this is a connected issue or not. I have run a Spybot scan, and an AVG Free scan The Spybot scan found a few things like WebTrends, Zedo, DoubleClick, and AdClick, and I deleted these; The AVG scan found nothing. I have a attached a new HijackThis log. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My regular e-mail (not the apparently compromised account) Thank you in advance.
