change between video adapters

hi

just got Asus A52JC

with I5 450M CPU & nvidia 310M 1GB GPU

and i see it uses some built in intel graphic on the CPU ,

i didnt knew or know why is it happnes nor the cpu got built in video adapter

does the I5 cpu uses intel virtual adapter to use nvidia graphic?/ and it is switching automaticly when neeeded to nvidia?

if not than how do i change to nvidia?

The BIOS should automatically have it switch to the installed card in the PCI-E slot.

it is notebook so it came installed, but it didnt changed

The A52JC uses a Hybrid Graphics Engine, consult the user manual to discover whether it switches automatically, or if you can select between the Intel and nVidia by means of a function key or similar. I can't read up for you because the ASUS support site only offers the manual in Finnish and Bulgarian.
