I installed the Citix XenApp 12 online web plug in and since, my Intel Gigiabit connectivity is gone. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers to no avail. not sure where to look to resolve the issue.

Have tried:
  • Removing the Citrix and associated plugins
  • Disabling and enabling the connection
  • Removing and reinstalling the driver
  • Upgrading the driver from the web
  • Repairing the connection (IP renew)

Nothing has worked.

Your network card is installed, you may want to check the properties for your device in networking.

Should there be a "Client for Microsoft networks" service in the list? I don't see it. Also the IP address seems weird. is it possible Citirx changed settings in the hosts file that could have an impact?

What does the IP address look like?

Can you do an ipconfig /all and tell me what you see?

I see this my LAN network, but not my wireless (which works)

Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
Autoconfiguration IP Address. . . : 169.254.xx.36

Wireless:

Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 172.16.xx.106

They should be the same, close?

Probably something that Citrix did to your networking.

Is your router setup for DHCP? I would power off your computer, power off router/modem then power on the modem/router then reboot the computer.

Yeah were DHCP. You;d think the Citrix plugin would undo it's changes on uninstall but apparently not. Would hate to have to restore my 4 months old Windows image to clean this up.
