I am running Windows XP Pro. I can sign on to the screen for user names but can't get past my name. I can get on through Guest but then I don't have Admin rights.

This happened after I downloaded Spybots.

Hi suzq -
Silly question but , did you remove Spybot S&D after you found there may be a problem ??
The download , or the site you downloaded from , may have caused some problem -
Use the inbuilt uninstaller if you can , and then check Control Panel > Add/Remove to be sure it is removed -
Try to load Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware and run a scan , along with your antivirus to be sure , for a start -

Thank You -

Edited for spelling

Where does the "command.com error" enter into this?

If there is a specific error message, please post it.
