vista log in blinks and closes

i had a virus and reinstalled vista... working fine with one problem. when i reboot or startup i get vista blue xcreen and the login box blinks off and on and disappears. i must hit F8 or F12 to get login to stay and then i can log in....what is the problemo?

i worked with nortons people for 2 hours and they did a super dooper scan and say it is not a virus but today 40 windows opened and i could not control the computer or turn it off

so something is up

Do you recall what Virus you had?

How did you reinstall Windows Vista?

after ten trips to geek squad where the computer worked for them every time but when i got home it glitched i switched TO A NEW keyboard and solved my problem... it was bad and apparently that can glitch entire computer.... it did with me and man was that a bad 3 days



in ten trips to best buy over 3 days noone mentioned that

i reinstalled windows with the disk twice
