Install for 2nd time

My brother has recently had to uninstall a screensaver downloaded by his little boy and now gets this error message on startup Posted Image .However the restore point would be before the installation of a legitimate copy of Windows 7 , would he be able to reinstall it?

Was it an upgrade version or full version.

Then reformat the drive, and reinstall Windows 7.

Documents, music etc are all on the same drive as the OS

Hi, not at the minute would require an external harddrive & times are hard .If you can reformat the drive & reinstall Windows, could he not do a system restore to whenever then reinstall Windows?
