Please help! I have tried everything I can think of or read about to address this problem and I am out of ideas. My browswer is routinely getting redirected, usually to a site with something for sale. I start in Google and then when I am offered a host of sites matching my query and I select one... I start off going to that site and then I am redirected.
This is what I have tried....
I have Norton Internet Security 2011- that finds nothing during a scan
I downloaded and ran Malwarebytes anti Malware. It found some questionable files that I removed... still the problem
I ran the ATF Cleaner followed by Super Anti Spyware- that also found a few files which I deleted....still the problem.
I have looked at programs on my computer to see if anything fishy is there, with intentions to unistall a rogue program, but nothing looked obvious.
I ran Hijackthis and I have a log file I can post, but I am not sure that is appropriate.

I'd appreciate any suggestions you can offer. I am really burned out on this problem... I had no idea how often I used a browser before I could no longer use one...

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
