Now it has the Microsoft Security Essentials Alert stating I have a Trojan. I have downloaded rkill.com and it seems to remove this box. However....it also removes all icons. This then does not allow me to run the mbam. Thanks

When using rkill it told me the following processes were terminated by rkill or while it was running:

c:Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Application Data\hotfix.exe
c:Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Desktop\rkill.com

Hello,

I see that you have the Thinkpoint infection. There is a removal guide for that here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-thinkpoint

Please let me know how that turns out for you.
