Computer problems

1) flash player is not recognized in any web browser.
2) I can navigate to all web pages, but often times links on the pages either don't work or open blank pages. ( facebook home page is blank but other links on home page work).
3) can't download Google Chrome after uninstallong it

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Internet Explorer8, flash player.
CA Antivirus quarantined a Trojan that I deleted.
Malewarebytes found no infected files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't remember the name of the Trojan, I'll see if I can find it in the log.
