I am having a problem with my computer starting. I can enter my bios but after that load screen I get nothing. I also can not get the computer to boot from my CD rom drive either.

What happens when you try to boot from the CD ROM drive?

Perhaps you need to set the start up sequence to point to the CD ROM drive before the hard drive. It is in the BIOS, under BOOT SEQUENCE usually.

To enter bios, hit DELETE key or perhaps F1 or F2 key while you see the load screen.

Set the sequence to the CD ROM first, then floppy second (if you have one), then the hard drive, save the changes, and then reboot and see if it will boot from the CD. This will tell us a lot, plus if successful will give you more options for diagnosing what is going on.

Let us know if this is successful. Thanks.
