My PC running Vista Ultimate is infected with the System Defragmenter. I've followed the instructions at: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-system-defragmenter, running rkill and mbam (subscriber copy). On restart the scanner reinstalls itself. Run rkill again, and mbam quick scan after updating the program but it now finds nothing. Also I'm noticing after rkill an item on my bottom bar with the M like in the Motorola shows up. Microsoft Security essentials reports no infection. System defragmenter also places an icon on my desktop.

Please help

I subsequently ran a bitdefender online scan, and it found the following:

Found 1 infected file!
----------------------

C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Local\Temp\8552364.exe --> Gen:Trojan.Heur.FU.HyW@a4@nm!n
--> HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\"8552364"

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
