Hey there I am new here, and not hugley computer savy. Anyway I have been a bit slack and not really thought about computer protection on the four computers within my household. Basically to cut a long story short I feel all four have viruses or maleware on them, I have ran a few said programmes mentioned within here but I feel it would be easier if somebody could run through cleaning them up with me, as I am a little stuck. It would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you.

Thats a bit vague. I will start with this laptop.

Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium.

My sister mainly uses this laptop not myself. Suspisions arose when she was sending out random messages on facebook to her friends and other uses. After a little digging and research I feel it was the 'knoobface' virus, the one taking you to a false youtube site. She said she does not know if shes opened a email and downloaded anything from it or clicked a link (helpful I know!). This is what I have done so far.

- Norton 360 runs on this computer currently so I ran a virus check in safe mode, it brought up 22 known issues, mainly tracking cookies, I have fixed them.

- I have also ran Maleware-bytes Anti-Maleware, and it found nothing.

- I also tried Spybot search and destroy, which brough up a few errors which I have fixed.

Bar that I am a little stuck on this laptop, there is no performance issues etc.

Thanks.
