I can use some help… I got hit with the Think Point malware…I tried to remove it via the instructions posted on this site but was unable to get the downloads to work after I removed the “hotfix” exe so now I have a blue screen and I don’t know what to do. I have not rebooted yet but I just don’t know how to recover from here. Can I just reload my system software somehow without losing all my files mostly Photos? If anyone has a suggestion I am open to hear it and give it a try. Thanks

Sincerely yours,

Hey gjoeg, :)

Sorry for the delay, it gets crazy here.

Are you still at the same point with your computer that you were when you originally posted?

If so, are you saying that the instruction on using Task Manager to open explorer.exe did not work, and you never were able to get Windows Desktop to load?

Clarify this for me, and we'll go from there. :thumbup2:
