Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
I have a Win7 machine, Sony Vaio, dual processor, generally runs very quickly.
I have been having issues that I've worked with Microsoft on, and they can't find the root of the problem (no surprise huh? hehe) My fear is that due to several other things happening at once (like my login ID picture randomly changing on its own on the computer), I fear I have a keylogger installed on my PC or my machine has been hacked.
I have cleaned it the best I can, but the machine is running dog slow and the hard drive light is pegged out, even though nothing is taking excessive memory that I can see and the CPU and disk usage aren't very high (neither is the memory usage).
At the same time all this is occurring, my backups have stopped working due to a "shadow copy error". I have looked up the errors, performed the fixes (like removing any zip files from the downloads area) and so on but still receive the same backup error.
I have run HiJackThis and am attaching a log file. I notice many things are "missing files". I'm not sure how to make heads or tails out of this file, what is safe to delete, and what may be an indication of a problem. Please help!
