anti malware doctor popped up yesterday after i was just googling a bit on the internet.

already did a MBAM scan but didn't remove
did housecall but didn't remove either (i think)

manually deleted the file at appdata/roaming/weirdfilename

so anything else i can do? the pc has to last for at least a week (due to school)

also i don't have a windows vista CD, the laptop installed it on itself. it's a samsung r710 but i don't know how i would reinstall vista on this. any help with that would be appreciated.

thanks in advance for your help

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

Hello,

I see you created a new topic here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic356190.html Were you unable to create the DDS logs and GMER logs as requested in my previous post? There is no mention of your running them. Please see my post above. This time though, if you are able to produce the logs, please post them as a reply to your new topic. If unable to produce them, please explain what happens when you try to create them in a reply to your new topic and I'll merge that post to the initial post over there.
