Alleged Windows Explorer Virus Crashes

Keep getting 'windows explorer has encountered a problem and has to close' and the desktop freezes after boot up. Running all the usual spypot, spyware blaster, cwshredder, ad-aware, ms antispyware, regseeker, trend AS scan, avg free, zone alarm firewall, firefox/thunderbird, internet access vai netgear dg834t router with hardware firewall. All are fully update and can find no problems. Evesham insist that it is a virus infection. Restore had no effect. Reformatted hard drive and re-installed complete disc image using Acronis True Image. Has worked perfectly for 2 weeks and now we are back to stage one. Panda on line scanner clear of infections. Only recent problem was Java Byte verify which was removed. Works ok in safe mode
