Hi
My Yahoo email acct was hacked and 2 emails (separated by 7 days) with a link to a site advertising drugs sent to all my contacts.
I've changed my acct P/W but don't understand how it happened and whether my PC is compromised. It hasn't recurred since 7th Oct.
Thanks for any help and I attached the TCPView file.

Forgot to say: XP sp3, AVG free (+anti-spy) - but not the very latest version available now, Comodo F/W, Spywareblaster. Sky Netgear Router via ethernet. Scanned with AVG and Housecall (Trendmicro) - Nil.
Have contacted Yahoo security a la the stickie.

Sorry for the delay. The log looks clean. My guess is they brute forced your account. Since you have not had an issue since you changed your password, that is the most likely scenario.

OK - thanks for that - it wasn't a tough P/W as I thought it wasn't a sensitive arena - how wrong was I?!

Email is as sensitive as you get. Lot's of personal info pass through there.
