I have been waiting almost 3 months for someone to assist me in this problem, as there seems to be almost NO INFORMATION about my problem on the internet that I can find.

While waiting I have been researching VFXDSYS and have found something close but not exactly my problem

Does anyone out there know how to fix my problem?

Hello, what operating system is this?

The javaw.exe process is the Java Virtual Machine. It is used by your computer to run programs written in the java programming language. It is also used as part of the Java plugin for Internet Explorer (and/or other browsers)

Info is vague on VFXDSys Compatibility Synchronisation;VFXDSys Compatibility Synchronisation;c:\users\owner\application data\microsoft\vfxdsys drivers\vfxdsysadm.exe owner --> c:\users\owner\application data\microsoft\vfxdsys drivers\vfxdsysadm.exe Owner [?]

Do you still have the Virus Total report?

Please perform a scan with Eset Online Antiivirus Scanner.
This scan requires Internet Explorer to work. Vista/Windows 7 users need to run Internet Explorer as Administrator.
To do this, right-click on the IE icon in the Start Menu or Quick Launch Bar on the Taskbar and select Run As Administrator from the context menu.
  • Click the green Posted Image button.
  • Read the End User License Agreement and check the box:
  • Check Posted Image.
  • Click the Posted Image button.
  • Accept any security warnings from your browser.
  • Check Posted Image
  • Check Remove found threats and Scan potentially unwanted applications. (If given the option, choose "Quarantine" instead of delete.)
  • Click the Start button.
  • ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer.
  • If offered the option to get information or buy software at any point, just close the window.
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and do NOT use the computer while the scan is running. Keep all other programs and windows closed.
  • When the scan completes, push Posted Image
  • Push Posted Image, and save the file to your desktop as ESETScan.txt.
  • Push the Posted Image button, then Finish.
  • Copy and paste the contents of ESETScan.txt in your next reply.
Note: A log.txt file will also be created and automatically saved in the C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\ folder.
If you did not save the ESETScan log, click Posted Image > Run..., then type or copy and paste everything in the code box below into the Open dialogue box:

C:\Program Files\ESET\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt
  • Click Ok and the scan results will open in Notepad.
  • Copy and paste the contents of log.txt in your next reply.
-- Some online scanners will detect existing anti-virus software and refuse to cooperate. You may have to disable the real-time protection components of your existing anti-virus and try running the scan again. If you do this, remember to turn them back on after you are finished.

NOTE: In some instances if no malware is found there will be no log produced.

Hello Boopme,

Thanks for your reply

Before I get to the ESET log....

I know the usual and appropriate purpose for JAVAW.EXE,
BUT when 5 or 10 or 15 instances are running and they are all sharing 100% of the CPU, something is wrong.

If VFXDSYS is running, the JAVAW.EXE processes will return over and over again after killing them. I can kill all 10 or 15 and they will return as long as VFXDSYS is running, if I kill VFXDSYS, and the JAVAW.EXE's, they will all stop restarting.

IF I then use a legitimate JAVA program, only 1 instance of the JAVAW.EXE process will be seen, sharing the CPU% nicely with the others.

Now as this guy says...
Message 1
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/48/computer-technical-help/aiott-malware-logs-869664/

I also did click on a private message stating that they had a "VIDEO OF ME" and wondered if it really was me! --MY BIG MISTAKE!-- That is when these problems began

NOW I also have a "C:\Documents and Settings\%User\.jnana" directory like this guy with VFXDSYS
http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&sl=hr&u=http://www.eileenslounge.com/viewtopic.php%3Ff%3D37%26t%3D3474%26start%3D0&prev=/search%3Fq%3D%2522.jnana.tsa%2522%2Bmalware%2B-yoga%26hl%3Den%26prmd%3Divfd&rurl=translate.google.com&twu=1&usg=ALkJrhg3sWrTb4GtlSb-6WS-CWjCoA7y8w
BUT Microsoft Security Essentials did not find it or declair it to be trouble as it did for this guy

HITMAN PRO 3.5.7 says FILE NAMED "C:\Documents and Settings\John\.jnana\cplib_x86_win.klf" is MALWARE, but the HITMAN PRO is a trial version and will not remove it without paying a fee.

I am sure I have a problem, but not sure what advice to follow to remove it.

Thanks Boopme for your attention to my troubles,
John

It is definately an infection and we will need to run the stronger tools. I want you to post a DSS log and have it removed properly and with supervision as these tools can turn your PC into a doorstop and you must have guidance.

Sorry we could not get it here but we will get it now.

We need a deeper look. Please go here....
Preparation Guide ,do steps 6 - 9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9,which is here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs and not in this topic, thanks.
If Gmer won't run, skip it and move on.
Let me know if that went well.

Hello Boopme,

Sorry for the slow reply, I have a lot of real world work to do and these tests are not working out so well. The GEMR program will not run for me and I am not sure if I am doing it right or not.

When I double click the GEMR program, it starts up with the wrong check boxes selected and instantly begins scanning. I have to tell the program to stop scanning. When it finally does stop, and I uncheck the wrong check boxes, it appears that the program continues scanning where it had previously stopped, not from the beginning, maybe I am wrong.

Anyway, when I tried the first time it scanned for 3 hours before I got tired of waiting for it to finish and went to bed. The next morning the program and my computer were both stopped and unresponsive. I restarted the computer and tried scanning the computer scanning while I was at work. When I came back home, the program was stopped at a different spot than before and again unresponsive. I tried a 3rd and 4th time, again stopping at different spots or locking up as I try to check and uncheck the box selections.

On the other hand, I have sucessfully run the DDS program with and without the VFXDSYSADM.EXE + JAVAW.EXE programs running. Their results are available, but I do not see where the "ATTACH FILES" options is to post the files here and the "HELP" button also has no info on attaching files. Right now the only way I can get you the files is to put them at -rapidshare-

Maybe you can the identify something helpful from this post, or maybe a different 'GEMR like' program is available to help also.

The bottom of your post says to "Start a NEW Topic". Do I have to actually start a new topic again?

Thanks again for your continued attention to my problem.
John

There are varying reasons GMER will not run.

Open GMER and deselect (uncheck):
  • IAT/EAT
  • Drives/Partition other than Systemdrive (typically C:\)
  • Show All <- don't miss this one
Posted Image

If that does not work you may also need to uncheck Devices and Sections from the options on the right, along with the items noted above, then try running it again. If it's still crashing, also uncheck Files.

Should GMER still fail to run or continues to crash, try running it in safe mode.

If you still cannot get GMER to run, then skip that step and continue with the next. When you have done that, post your log in the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs forum, NOT here, for assistance by the Malware Response Team Experts. There is no need to attach your log...just copy and paste it directly in the message area as shown in step 9 of the Prep Guide.
