My computer was running perfect until I installed the comcast norton, now I get pop ups, my task bar has changed color, I get a generic host 32 error, my speakers don't work and my computer will not shut down unless I force it. I spent several hours with comcast (via india) and they blamed it on windows and told me to contact them. very frustrating.

HKMP5, whatever is going on is something Comcast is not equipped to handle. They can help you with Comcast issues, but not with Windows or infection or hardware/software issues.

It sounds as if your system is infected. Please post your issue in the Am I Infected forum. Our malware removal experts will help you clean your computer.
