Hope this is in the right place. Mods move it please if not and sorry in advance.

I will start on start up. Sometimes my machine will freeze up after I click my Name. It will say 'loading personal settings' and stay there. I have to reboot my machine manually. A few times it will load up XP/Explorer but no desktop icons will appear. Same thing I have to reboot. And sometimes all is well.
My next issue deals with internet and my connection. I have an air card Sierra 598u from Sprint. I get a couple error codes after a while of being on the internet. I get on fine and surf speed is normal. Then at some point I realize there is no more connection and I was disconnected. A Error code appears (one of 2 usually) which basically says that I am not configured or that another device is connected like a Fax. All of which I dont have. Sometimes closing Smart View (the Sprint air card connection system) and re-opening corrects the problem and I reconnect. Most of the time I have to shut down and restart the machine totally. Thats my biggest issue :(
When I first open FireFox, it takes quite a while to open. Now so does iExplorer which I seldom use. Its aggravating to say the least but thats not my biggest issue. Would like to know why tho. Also when I loose connection with Sprint Air card issue explained above, and when I get reconnected, trying to load up FireFox again it does not connect. Even closing FF totally and re opening the program it doesnt want to connect. It thinks there still is no internet connection. But I load up iExplorer and it loads fine. Again I have to reboot my PC for FF to work.
I also get a re-direct of sorts. I think it is attached to Yahoo. My Homepage is Google, but I go to Yahoo to check mail usually first thing. My Yahoo opens and a few minutes later I get another browser tab auto opens with some random website. Nothing I click or anything. If I close it B4 it fully opens, no problem. If I let it open, sometimes it shows a name in the www.____.com top, but sometimes its a IP addy type number up there. If I let it open and try to close it, it gives me a pop up asking if I really want to navigate away from the site.
Today my PC has gone one step further in that my MediaPlayer doesnt see a aduio device and thus wont play a music file. Plays a video ok but no sound. I do hear sound from key functions on my speakers so I know my ancient audio card and speakers are working fine. Just WMP has lost its connectivity. In properties, etc it doenst show up. Im aggravated.

I have RegScrub, AVG, HiJackThis, FCleaner, TempCleaner and SpyBot at my disposal. All but HJT was added by a PC store that did a cleanup and refresh abt 6 months ago. HJT I added recently from prior experience.
I run SB and AVG once a week myself but AVG is also on auto.
FCleaner and RegScrub I run abt 3 weeks apart. Temp Cleaner I do once a month.

Attached is my HJT logfile in 'word wrap' form and done just B4 my last reboot. I would greatly appreciate any advice and help. Mike

Also like to note that Sprint/Sierra aircard has installed a Bytemobile optimization. On Task Managser, the BMOP.exe runs a staggering 500,000k plus during internet use. FF runs at 60,000k plus. BMCTL.exe is another runing file I dt recognize and tink is associated with Bytemobile. But it runs just a little. I am concerened about the BMOP file and how much of my pc it uses.

  • Please Do not Attach logs or put in code boxes.
  • Tell me about any problems that have occurred during the fix.
  • Tell me of any other symptoms you may be having as these can help also.
  • Do not run anything while running a fix.

In the upper right hand corner of the topic you will see a button called Options. If you click on this in the drop-down menu you can choose Track this topic. By doing this and then choosing Immediate E-Mail notification and then clicking on Proceed you will be advised when we respond to your topic and facilitate the cleaning of your machine.
