My Mom's computer is running windows vista home premium. Everytime a program is clicked on to run it will always give an error saying that Windows is closing the program. The only thing this doesn't seem to happen to is when you run inet explorer, it seems to work fine. I had her try a system restore and that didn't help. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Every time? You are saying that Internet Explorer is the ONLY application which works properly?

Yes, for some reason internet explorer will start up and you can access the web but any other program that was started returned the error message. There was Kaspersky anti virus on this computer but that doesn't start up properly either.

What is the exact working of a typical error message, please? And what program are you trying to run for this message?

Louis
