This is practically a brand new macbook pro 15" running Snow Leopard and intel core i5 processor.

Sometimes, the middle 1/3 of my screen freezes and when i scroll, only the 1/3 of the left and right of my screen move like they are supposed to. The middle stays the same. Everything in the middle third stays the same, when im on the internet, desktop etc.

I have a changing wallpaper that changes every 5 seconds, and it the middle third stays the same while the rest of the screen to the left and right change.

Then the other problem is that the middle third will will experience some kind of multi color static. Imagine tv static with color. ill try to get a screen shot.

That isn't good. Contact Apple if it's still under warranty.

Ill definitely be sure to do that. The screen shot comes up at totally black, but ill post the link to photobucket anyway. Ill try to take it to apple store.

I was hoping for a computer with a stable OS and fairly well maintainted rep, but now im starting to regret buying a mac over pc.

Yeah You definitely have a graphics processor problem. If this is the same mac as the one in your last topic then it is definitely a graphics problem only apple can fix.

I think I may have found the problem. Ever since I have switched over to Firefox/Chrome from Safari, all of the problems have disappeared. No more Screen static crashes etc. Safari was the only variable I removed and so far its been 2 or so weeks without any trouble.
