I rebooted to the W7 disk and installed it on the new drive i installed in the desktop.
i am now offered the ability to dual boot, XP and since become unstable and BSOD's if i try to boot to it.
So i am left with a W7 install and an external HDD with all my stuff, and i cant seem to be able to move ( copy and paste or drag and drop) these folders into the W7 drive.
I kept everything organized under "my documents" on the xp install, i simply backed up the entire "my documents" folder to the external.
I know all the files are there as i access them regularly through other machines and can access them with the W& install.
I just cant figuire out how to MOVE them over to the W& drive in to the "documents" folder.
