hi all,

my 50 GB hard drive is full. I use explorer to see what is there, and have deleted everything I dare. I just used

windirstat (thanks to... from another thread - great program to see what your hard drive looks like graphically) and see in my

c:/users/kris2/appdata/local/temp/

that I have near 7 GB. That is 7 gb in a temp file I cannot see when I use explorer. I could really use that 7 GB back. I see I have my videos and picutes in another directory. The ones in the temp appear to be back ups. Can I delete them and still see my pics and videos?

Thanks!

I know you are busy, and are helping lots of people, but I can't help but notice that you did not answer my first question, about being able to see my pics and movies if I delete the temp files, and then you missed that part where I said I could not see them... If I could move them to another directory, I would be happy to do so, but I can't find them to move.... perhaps I should wait for someone else to weigh in. thanx for you quick responses though

Move your pictures to another directory as they should not be stored in the temp directory then run the temp file cleaner.
