Dear Whiz Kids,

Im like the other chap who posted his concerns over the number of processes running. I have spent considerable time going thru a couple of sites recommended to me here that detail the various processes, but with limited success due to my limited intellect.

I would like to be able to post a list of processes or a screen shot of my task manager so that you good people might cast a knowing eye over it, but again I lack the know how.

Can anyone advise me please?

Ignorantly yours

Constantine

P.S. Im 47 years old and doing the best I can to learn, cause I do love my computer:)

You might go to http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/ and download their free program. Be sure to set it up so it places an icon in your tray (so you can see it when you need it). I have it set to use the Shift/PrintScreen button on the keyboard - there are other options. Once you call the program from the icon, it is active from then on. Hit Shift/PrintScreen (in my case) and you get to select a window around what ever you want to copy. A couple of <Enter>s later the image is on your clipboard.

Hope it helps.

What about Print Screen itself? I mean just press it and copy it on MS Paint?

Hi Constantine

The tutorial at this link will direct you on how to take a screenshot.
How to take and share a screen shot in Windows

The mini-tutorial that Koan Yorel mentioned in his above post, will help you to learn to insert your task manager screenshot, once it has been taken and saved.

BTW Thanks Koan. ;)
