Hey all, first time poster long time reader here.

I have recently come across this problem!

When i try to open almost every programme except (Chrome, Ventrillio) i get that error or an error similiar to it. When i click show details it says this : C:\windows\system32\regsvr32.exe . Now im not a computer expert so i have no idea about this! My first thought was to do a system restore, but alas, i found no restore points.

My computer also doesnt seem to recognise that im connected to the internet. But i can load chrome fine. MSN doesn't work neither does steam.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

What is the exact error message that you get when you try to load up Steam or MSN?

It just says that im not connected to the internet and wont connect to their servers, same with everything else that i need to connect to the internet with. It says im not connected, when i clearly am! Even my network settings say that im connected to my router which is connected to the internet. But nothing else will recognise it!

^The above is the error i get when i try to open 'League Of Legends'.

Also, when i start my computer i get lots of errors from java not being able to run. And when i try to run skype it says that windows installer could not start and give me a fatal error when installing. When all i want to do is run the programme.

It looks like this: http://tinypic.com/r/2426hhh/7

It also might be worth mentioning, that i only have system sounds and ventrilo sounds. Anything on youtube/itunes wont play. also if i try to load a video i get some weird errors and the programme wont respond.

You might be infected with something. Do you recall the BSOD Stop Code?

We need to know more about your BSODs...

Download BlueScreenView (in Zip file)

No installation required.

Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program and When scanning is done, go to Edit > Select All.

Then go to File > Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.

Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

I am going to have you remove Norton using Norton Removal Tool see if that will fix this issue.

Do you have another computer?
