I have some sort of virus or malware or something like that on my laptop. It pops up as a windows security alert. When it opens there are 3 options to purchase different levels of antivirus protection. The page is hxxp://antispytag.com

It will not let me open any other webpages. It also will not let me run rkill, avg or malwarebytes. I cannot open task manager either.

I went in in safe mode. When i opened task manager there did not appear to be anyting abnormal. I ran rkill avg & malwarebytes in safe mode but when i logged back in normally the problem was still there.

I then logged in in safe mode with networking. I thought if i done this maybe i could download the latest malwarebytes or super anti spyware. When i tried for some reason the internet connection would not work in safe mode so i am not sure if the problem has affected my connection in safe mode.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

This is a seriously annoying one, have tried following removal steps for other problems but none seem to work.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
