Audio Problems ?

I have headphones plugged into my computer.. I tried plugging them into the back and the front of the computer.. and it's not working.. I cant hear a thing. The volume is turned up and it shows that its playing music but i cant hear it. I dont know what to do..

And then when i went to Control Panel and was looking through the Hardware and Sound it says "Speakers not plugged in" but they are sooo...... wtf ??? Can someone tell me what im doing wrong, please?

Are you plugged into the appropriate terminal (green one) on soundcard/chip?

Do regular speakers work when plugged in properly?

You could also check Device Manager and ensure that the sound drivers are installed...look for any yellow markings by a device. Start/Run...type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.

I was plugged into the wrong spot haha Oops.. All figured out now. Thanks
